A little bit about us
Daphne Lundi and Louise Yeung, are friends, artists, and urban planners who have a soft spot for the romantic comedies of the 80s, 90s, and early aughts (aka, the golden era of romantic comedies when the work of Nora Ephron and her contemporaries reigned supreme). There’s a dearth of attention when it comes to thinking critically about the ways that cities can foster love, be it romantic, familial, or platonic. Romantic Urbanism is an invitation to explore how cities can be proactively designed to facilitate the timeless and universal human endeavor of trying to love and be loved.
